Get your license up and running again

If you have reinstalled WordPress, restored a backup or removed a plugin or theme and need it installed and activated again for reasons unrelated to our service, we can take care of it.

What is included

  • Checking that your La Colmena Tecnológica license is current.
  • Reinstalling the plugin or theme if needed and reactivating its license.
  • Checking the activation on the same website.

Each purchase covers one license and one website. This is a one-off service with no new subscription or recurring charges.

How it works

  1. Sign in with the account associated with your current license and purchase the service.
  2. After payment, open the private form in My account → Orders → View.
  3. Tell us the plugin or theme, website URL and what happened. Provide a temporary administrator link or temporary login credentials.
  4. We will review the information and carry out the reinstallation and activation. Once correct access is provided, this is usually completed the same day or the following day.

Price and conditions

€7 plus tax, paid once. The license must be current and belong to the customer requesting the service. Its expiry date and site allowance remain unchanged.

This does not include a new license or renewal, installing WordPress, restoring content or backups, malware removal, website repairs or plugin/theme configuration. If the issue is attributable to our initial installation, contact support before purchasing this service.

To use your license on another domain, choose License transfer.

License reactivation or transfer

If your license is deactivated by mistake (for example, after reinstalling WordPress), you can easily reactivate it:

  • €5 for the main license
  • €1 for each additional plugin

A license transfer to another domain is only permitted if you are moving from a development site to a production site.

  • Transfer cost: €7

Conditions based on subscription type:

  • Annual: you can transfer the domain only during the first 30 days after purchase.
  • Biennial and triennial: the transfer period is extended to 90 days.

Please note that after this period, the transfer will no longer be possible.

We’ll send the key and instructions

We don’t need access to your WordPress. We’ll send you an activation key along with clear instructions so you can install the license yourself quickly and easily.

To generate the key, we need you to email us with the full domain name, including the protocol (http:// or https://), for example: https://tusitio.com.

We usually send it the same day or, at the latest, the next day (Spain time). If you need help, you can contact us at any time.

WordPress Access

We offer 100% official licenses at a reduced price because we acquire packages with multiple activations. To activate yours, we need temporary Administrator access to your WordPress (We will send you a guide for secure access), as the master key cannot be shared for security reasons.

Activation is quick, usually on the same day (Spain time) or, at most, the next day. Once done, you can remove our access without any problem.

A GPL plugin is a version whose code has been modified to avoid having to activate the plugin to use it, but this usually causes multiple errors, incompatibilities, and vulnerabilities, in addition to requiring manual updates.
